According to the trend, Super Chat allows viewers to pay to have their messages displayed, while Super Stickers are stickers that users can purchase to make their messages stand out in the chat.

YouTube has announced this update along with other updates for live developers. The company shared that many manufacturers around the world are now eligible to receive gifts from viewers, as gifts are now available in Canada, Korea, Indonesia, Thailand, Australia, and New Zealand.

In addition, viewers can now send GIFs to creators’ horizontal streams, rather than vertical ones, directly from their mobile devices.

YouTube also announced that creators can now be in portrait and landscape mode at the same time, allowing all viewers to interact with them in a single chat. The company says that more than 30% of viewing time in the US will come from connected TVs by 2025, which is why it wants manufacturers to be able to customize their settings across all screen types.
