Why is the game only legal in Australia one day a year?

Two-up is a coin toss betting game in which two people bet each other whether they will get heads or tails. The game is classified as unregulated gambling and is illegal in most of Australia. But on April 25, bars were allowed to open for a few hours across the country, and people flocked to the bars to have fun. The BBC’s Harry Sekulich explains why the exception was made and what those for and against it have to say.
