AFC decision

In a letter confirmed by Sky News Arabia, AFC said in a statement to the UAE Football Association: “The offer made by Shabab Al-Ahly Club (United Arab Emirates) has been rejected.”

The team submitted their objections on the pitch immediately after the match, before following up with an official statement through the AFC’s approved procedures.

This comes in collaboration with the UAE Football Association, as part of maintaining the rights of Emirati clubs in the competition.
