Trump’s visit to China could define relations for years to come

Ryan Haas, director of the John L. Thornton China Center at the Brookings Institution, said: “As long as the visit goes well and Trump feels he is being respected, then an uneasy calm in the relationship will persist. On the other hand, if Trump comes away feeling disrespected or slighted, then he may change his mind.”
