Tiger Woods and ex Elin Nordegren’s ups and downs over the years

More than a decade after cheating scandals made headlines Tiger Woods and Elin Nordgren have Putting the past behind them and raising two children together.

Woods and Nordegren met through golf in 2001 Jesper Parnevikwho was her nanny at the time. Three years later, the two tied the knot and welcomed daughter Sam in 2007 and son Charlie in 2009.

The same year Charlie was born, it was revealed that Woods had had several extramarital affairs, including one with Teacher Rachel. In November 2009, Nordegren confronted Woods about his indiscretion. In August of the following year, the two finally divorced.

Five years later, Woods revealed their marital woes in an interview time.

“In hindsight, it’s not about how I would change 2009 and how it all happened. It’s about having a more open, honest relationship with my ex-wife,” he said. “What it boils down to is having a more open, honest relationship with my ex-wife when we were married. If we had talked about it and been honest with each other, our frustrations would have come out. That’s where we are now, and it’s absolutely fantastic.”
