The moment the gunman was subdued by the principal


CCTV footage shows the moment an Oklahoma high school principal tackled an active shooter.

On April 7, suspected shooter Victor Hawkins walked into Pauls Valley High School and opened fire during the incident.

Principal Kirk Moore then rushed towards the former student and attacked him before another staff member arrived and took the gun from him.

Principal Moore was shot in the leg during the incident but has since been released from the hospital.

Hawkins was arrested at the scene and currently faces two counts of firearms possession, one count of intent to kill and two counts of unlawful carrying.
