A Blue Origin New Glenn rocket exploded on its launch pad in Cape Canaveral, Florida, on Thursday night.
The space technology company, founded in 2000 by Amazon billionaire Jeff Bezos, said there were no casualties in the incident.
“All personnel have been accounted for,” Blue Origin said in a statement. “We will provide an update as we learn more.” The company said the explosion occurred during a “hot test” and described the incident as “an anomaly.”
