Tara Reid rare public appearance cannes film festival premiere after recovering from her alleged hospitalization.
Reed, 50, attends night story Screening Friday 22nd May, wearing a black one shoulder dress with white cloak.
About six months ago, Reed Claims she was drugged at a Chicago hotel bar and ended up requiring hospitalization.
“Tara Reed attempted to file a police report following an incident in which she believed her drink had been tampered with. She is fully cooperating with the investigation,” a rep for the actress told US Weekly In a statement in November 2025. “Tara is recovering and asks for privacy during this painful time.”
The spokesperson continued: “She also urges everyone to be careful, watch your drinks and never leave them unattended as this can happen to anyone. She will not be making further comment at this stage.”
Police later insisted without any evidenceincluding surveillance footage to corroborate Reed’s accusations.
“After receiving a report alleging her drink had been tampered with, Rosemont detectives reviewed hotel surveillance, which included video from the hotel bar,” a law enforcement spokesperson told reporters. us December 2025. “In addition, multiple interviews were conducted. While video surveillance showed Tara Reid at the hotel bar, the video never showed anyone tampering with or adding anything to her drink. We can confirm that when she left the bar, the bartender covered her drink, which is standard bartender practice.”
At the same time, Reid felt “judged” by the authorities and their reporting.
“Honestly, I don’t remember anything after my first drink,” reed told us end of last year. “All I said was that I felt something was wrong and I thought I might have been drugged because I had no other explanation for why I woke up in a hospital gown with no memory of how I got there.”
Reed further claimed that the incident “severely affected” her mental health.
“I felt bullied and judged for something I couldn’t remember,” she claimed. “I’m trying to heal but the public scrutiny is making it very difficult and I’m afraid to even leave the house.”
Reed continued, “No one stayed in the hospital for about eleven hours because of drinking alone. I didn’t take any medication that day and I knew something was wrong. It didn’t matter if I drank extra alcohol afterward, the fact is I don’t remember anything.
