Euphoria fans who noticed Sidney SweeneyThe show’s character, Cassie, suffers several bites during her wedding, and you might be surprised to learn that this is intentional.
On Sunday, April 26, HBO’s hit series Cassie and Nate (Jacob Elord) got married in a lavish ceremony, full of climax – and some serious lows. In the wedding special, Cassie wore a custom bustier gown designed by Jackson Wiederhoeft. The plunging neckline caused Sweeney’s pasty to peek out of her dress multiple times.

“At its best, I think you dress as a form of self-expression[on your wedding day]but there’s also a situation where you dress for revenge and as a way of trying to outdo everyone,” he continued. “It’s more about doing the most.”

Sweeney continued: “There’s an hour-long collection of nude scenes of some of the world’s most famous male actors, and they’ve won Oscars and been praised for this work. But as soon as women do it, they’re degraded. They’re not actresses, they’re just taking off their tops so they can get a role. It’s a double standard that I really hope I can be a part of changing.”
