SpaceX files to go public, and the math requires a little faith

SpaceX S-1 has finally arrivedand the story it tells goes further than rockets. The filing runs to just 36 pages, and the numbers inside are consistent with what they want: a market cap of $28 trillion, cash flow tied to landing on Mars, and a valuation goal that would make it the largest IPO in American history.

See if Equity Podcast hosts Kirsten Korosec, Anthony Ha, and Sean O’Kane explore what the film says, what it leaves out, and whether this math holds up to reality. The team also covers NanoCo refuses to buy $20M to raise a $12M seed round for its safe Nano Claw, Anthropic’s $300M acquisition of SDK Stainless startupand the Google I/O announcement that promises to change hunting as we know it.
