Pete Star Isa Briones Scolding “disrespectful” fans who attended her Broadway show.
“Hey hey hey! Again, Broadway is not the circus,” Briones, 27, wrote on her Instagram Stories on Saturday, May 2. “Don’t yell whatever you want at the performers. Shouting ‘When are you going to finish your charts’ before I sing ‘Sorry Now’ is really disrespectful to the performers on stage and the rest of the audience.”
She continued, “You all make me angry. Love and light, please remember you are occupying a shared space and looking at art.”
Briones currently stars in Connie Francis In Broadway production of just in timea musical about a legendary singer Bobby Darling. (Gracie Lawrence Original role, later replaced Sarah Hyland before Briones took over. )
“It was so much fun. I was really having the time of my life,” said Briones, who made her Broadway debut in Hadestown In 2024, tell rolling stones last month. “Theatre makes me so happy and I love taking a break from television and Pete Do something that feels so different and so joyful. “

“She was on top of the world in the public eye, but she was going through such sad things in her personal life,” she said. “She couldn’t be with Bobby, and she had a semi-abusive father who said, ‘You have to work your ass off.'”

“Right before she was to perform, her father opened fire in the dressing room. It was a very painful moment, but she had to perform with a smile,” the actress explained. “It’s something I can relate to right now in this weird time. I’ve had amazing success that I never dreamed of. And, I’m going through my own thing, but I’m going to show it in my sadness.”
