Palestinians in the West Bank and some in Gaza vote in local elections

The Ramallah-based Central Electoral Commission said more than 1 million voters in the Palestinian territories are eligible to participate, including 70,000 voters in Deir el-Balah, where 12 polling stations are planned. Results are expected later Saturday or Sunday.
