Meta now allows parents to see what topics their child is discussing with Meta AI

Meta announced on Thursday that parents using their monitoring devices can now see the topics their child asked Meta AI last week on Facebook, Messenger, or Instagram.

Parents will see a new “Insights” tab within the dashboard that shows the topics their child has been discussing with the AI ​​chatbot. Topics can range from “School,” “Entertainment,” and “Life” to “Travel,” “Writing,” and “Health and Wellbeing,” among others, Meta says.

Parents can select a topic to view the subcategories within each category. For example, “Life” can be fashion, food, and vacations, while “Health and Wellbeing” covers fitness, health, and wellness.

The update is now available in the US, UK, Australia, Canada, and Brazil, and will roll out globally in the coming weeks.

The meta was shown for the first time these thoughts back in October when it said it was developing new tools to help parents guide their teens through AI.
