Met Gala sees Beyoncé’s return with a star-studded red carpet

The Met Gala, the annual haute couture parade at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, takes place on May 4, with Beyoncé, Nicole Kidman, Venus Williams and Anna Wintour serving as co-chairs of the Costume Institute fundraiser. This year’s dress code is “Fashion as Art,” inviting guests to interpret fashion as a concrete art form.

The annual fundraiser, held on the first Monday in May, raises funds for the museum’s Costume Institute and celebrates the opening of its major spring fashion show.

According to museum officials, the event has raised approximately $31 million by 2025, the highest revenue in its 77-year history.
