Meghan Trainor The curtain rises when she and her husband feel sexiest as a mom of three Daryl Sabara.
“When you’re 5, 2, and a newborn, you don’t have a lot of time to be sexy,” Traynor, 32, said in us weeklylatest cover story. “I think anyone who has a child under 5 knows what I’m talking about in a marriage. So it’s rare.”
Traynor’s latest album, play with me (released April 24), one of the tracks called “Pink Cadillac” is a nod to bruce springsteenThe 1984 song of the same name is very sexy and cheeky.
“I wrote a lot of these hit songs,” she told us. “I wish I felt this sexy all the time, but I know Daryl and I are going to enjoy our time together when the kids are grown, you know? But it’s like a fantasy of mine. Like my dream of one day feeling…so sexy again with my husband, and some nights I do. I don’t want to say once a month, but a few times a month.”
Traynor and Shabala Welcomed daughter Mikey via surrogate January, with Riley, 5, and son Barry, 2. Before adding their youngest child to the family, Trainor and Sabara, 33, decided to attend couples therapy.
“We started[during surrogacy]because we realized we were living in a different reality,” she explained us. “Even when we fight, it’s like, ‘Hey, we’re not even fighting about the same thing…’ When you have kids, everything is a decision. We almost had a fight this morning because one of my kids had diarrhea and (Daryl) wanted to give him chocolate waffles. I was like, ‘Is this the best idea?'”
She continued, “There were a lot of deep-seated things about our counselor that we were afraid to tell each other. He told us, ‘When you break through, it’s going to be the greatest love you’ll ever feel.'” I was like, “We’re so messed up right now, I can’t imagine what’s going to happen, but okay.” And he was 100 percent right. Now we can look at each other, understand each other’s thoughts, and say, ‘We’re safe.’ ‘”

Traynor gushed that she married Sabara in 2018 and that Sabara has been helping to validate her.
“Whenever I was near him, especially at night or even in his sleep, he always wanted to touch me or tell me how beautiful I was,” she said. “Every night he would pass out around nine o’clock, and I would get up multiple times to get ready to leave because I had given birth. Every time I went back to bed, I would wake him up a little bit, but not enough to keep him alive. And then he would always roll over and grab me and say, ‘You’re the only person I’ll ever want. I need you now.'” I was like, ‘What? You snore. so cute. It’s a great relief to be loved with confidence. I know that I am his obsession and he is my obsession. “
For Traynor, being “obsessed” with each other also meant installing two Toilets side by side In the bathroom of her previous house – she said she “missed it so much”.
“There was a place for a bidet, but I never used a bidet, so when I moved I had an extra toilet and I just put it where the bidet was. That’s when we had kids,” she explained. “When you’re up all night for your kids and you have to pee a million times and so is your husband – this time I’m not going to fight you for the toilet, I’m going to put two toilets in here. It’s the best decision I’ve ever made. Anyone who doesn’t understand doesn’t know what true love is.”
