Madonna, Shakira and BTS will make their first FIFA World Cup final halftime show appearance in July.
The Fédération Internationale de Football Association announced the news in a statement on the evening of Wednesday, May 13. Instagram postal.
The 2026 World Cup final will be held on Sunday, July 19 at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.
“The halftime show is the first time the FIFA World Cup supports the FIFA Global Citizenship Education Fund, a landmark initiative dedicated to raising $100 million to expand access to quality education and football for children around the world,” FIFA said in its Instagram post. “Throughout the tournament, $1 of every 2026 FIFA World Cup™ match ticket sold will be donated to the fund.”
