Apple’s latest news to break on vibe-coding software did not launch Lovable the implementation of its No-code AI software, which is now available as a mobile app on Apple’s and About Google app stores.
A new mobile vibe-coding app is being pitched to would-be programmers as a way to write on the go or an AI voice that lets you record your thoughts as they pop out of your head. This means you can leave Lovable to use your random idea from anywhere, letting its assistant run itself after receiving your input.
The new app also lets you switch back and forth between your computer and phone to pick up where you left off on a given project and receive notifications when a home is ready for review.
The app’s arrival comes shortly after Apple explained what vibe-coding apps can and can’t do on its App Store. A technology giant updates have been closed recently to popular vibe-coding tools, including Replit and Vibecode, for violating its design guidelines.
In short, Apple has not only banned vibe-coding apps, but it will not allow apps that download new code or change functionality, as this presents a security risk to users. (It also means that Apple’s App Review team won’t properly review the app during the approval process.)
Apple and temporarily removed vibe-coding app Everything from the App Store for the same reason, but the app he returned after the change at the beginning of this month.
To comply with Apple’s rules, vibe-coding apps can no longer run apps that are created within the host program. Instead, previews for these apps were moved to browsers.
Lovable also seems to be following these rules as its new app shows the ability to turn ideas into “functional websites or online apps.”
