LaMelo Ball, Ana Montana struggle with baby name

ESPN They shared the news via Instagram on Sunday, May 10, revealing to the world that their son’s name is “LaOne,” and the comments section was quickly filled with jokes.

“Can’t wait to pull two and three,” one fan wrote.

Another added, “Rich people literally name their kids like they’re pets.”

“Brother named him after his jersey number,” one fan added. (Ball, 24, wears No. 1 with the Hornets.)

While the name may be unorthodox, it follows the Ball family tradition of names starting with the letter L. family patriarch laval ball and his wife, Tinashare son Lonzo28 and LiAngelo27 years old, except for LaMelo.

But while fans were joking, Ball and Montana (real name Analicia Chavez) were celebrating the arrival of their baby.

“To my little baby 🤍🙏🏾,” Montana, 37, wrote on Instagram on Sunday. “Thank you for choosing me to be your mom 🥹🙏🏾. I love you beyond any words! You are my purpose and you help me become the woman I am destined to be! My heart was searching for you before I became your mom 🥹🥰 and we finally found each other in God’s perfect divine timing.”

Montana also dropped some news in her post, revealing that her fertility journey inspired her to start I Am Fertility, a nonprofit that will support women on their path to motherhood.

“Motherhood looks different for everyone,” she wrote. “I have hope, faith, resilience and trust in God even though I don’t understand the journey. By God’s grace… I am able to keep my answered prayers 🤍 In honor of His coming, I feel a responsibility to give back and share my testimony! That’s why I created @iamfertilitynonprofit to provide hope, support and real opportunity to families on their journey.”

She added, “Motherhood is a gift…and every woman should have the opportunity to experience it. Your story is not over yet.”
