Kay Trump throws lavish bed party to celebrate college plans

Kai – whose parents are donald trump jr. and his ex-wife Vanessa Trump — To celebrate her upcoming enrollment at the University of Miami, she filled her bedroom with an array of school merchandise Instagram photos Tuesday, May 5th. The influencer capitalized on the popular TikTok “bed party” trend, in which incoming freshmen decorate their rooms in school colors to show their commitment to college.

In a carousel of photos from her bed party, Kay posed with her mom, Vanessa, and many of her friends, while representing Miami in its signature colors of orange, white and green.

Kai also shared A brand new video blog Saturday, May 9, to document her final days of high school. In the vlog, Kay takes fans along to her graduation rehearsal and hangs out with some of her college-bound friends.

“It’s really sad guy,” she explained tearfully before her final week of high school. “I had a great time in high school. I met a great group of people. Great classes and school and everything like that. Now, we move on to the next chapter. … It’s scary, but it’s exciting, but it’s also sad. It’s like all the emotions coming together.”

Kay admitted, “I feel like I’m going back to ninth grade, first grade. I’d rather start over. … It’s really sad and happy! But also sad.”

The golfer’s sporting career looks bright as she made her LPGA Tour debut in November 2025 as an amateur. (Kay competed as an amateur at the ANNIKA Championship presented by Gainbridge in Bel Air, Florida.)

Earlier this year, Kai went public Logan Paul‘Impaulsive’ podcast talks about how Secret Service protection works influenced her high school experienceincluding appointments.

“Honestly, it’s really awkward when you’re on a date with a guy sitting two tables behind you,” she revealed in January. “It’s kind of weird. I try not to let it bother me. Especially over the past year, since he became president, I’ve had to know, yes, they’re following me, but also focus on pretending they’re not there.”

Kay added, “Obviously, they’re there. But if you can try not to really focus on that and just enjoy the time you have with friends, family, or other people, it makes it easier.”

“The first few months were tough,” she said. “It’s not easy to have someone following you all the time. But at one point I thought, ‘Their only job is to protect me. I’m going to focus on my thing and let them do their job.’ That made it a lot easier.”
