Hayden Panettiereex-boyfriend Brian Hickson Still hold the actress in high esteem – “of course” dreams of getting married.
“I hope so, but she might not think so,” Hixon, 37, told TMZ Wednesday, May 13, when asked about the possibility of reconciliation. “I think Hayden is one of the most talented people I’ve ever met in my life, and I’d be an idiot if I didn’t leave her and let her thrive in her career.”
Hickson further admitted that if he and Panettiere, 36, got back together, “it probably wouldn’t work out well together.”
this nashville alum and hickson are first romantic connection 2018. The following year, he was arrested in connection with an alleged domestic violence incident with Panettiere. Dixon was charged with felony domestic violence and ordered to stay away from Panettiere. Those charges were later dropped, and Hixon was arrested again in 2020 following another domestic violence altercation with Panettiere. He served 33 days in jail, four years of probation and was ordered to pay a $500 fine.
Panettiere and Hixon broke up after the second alleged incident, but they presumably remain on friendly terms.
“I think it’s a mutual respect thing,” he told TMZ where his exes currently stand. “She will always hold a special place in my heart and I hope she does the same. She was a great friend every day (and I miss her).”
Panettiere revisits her tumultuous relationship with Hixon in her upcoming memoir, This is me: Reckoning.
“It was a very embarrassing subject. I had always considered myself a resilient and strong woman, and the thought that I could have allowed something like this to happen to me shocked me,” she recalls exclusively in the book. one US Weekly cover story earlier this month. “It shocked the people who knew me best. To this day, they still can’t believe I would allow this to happen to me.”
She continued, “It’s humiliating and embarrassing, so I don’t want anyone to know. I want people to know as little as possible.”
Hixon told TMZ he was in “such a dark place,” detailing his feelings about The book that tells everything.
“I think everyone should read it,” he said. “I think the domestic violence stuff is like what’s on page 272. Everybody should read it. Who wants to read that about themselves, right? But you have to be vulnerable, and I did that.”
