Google Photos Wednesday he announced a new product created by AI that will soon turn your clothes photos into a digital room where you can create new ideas for clothes, and even test your creations. Of course, the concept takes clear inspiration from Cher’s flashy outfits featured in the movie “Clueless,” where she can scan her various ensembles while choosing clothes.

Google says that the new feature will enable AI technology to automatically create your own outfits based on the outfits that appear in your Google Photos library. From the app, you’ll be able to filter items into categories – such as tops, bottoms, accessories, and more – then mix and match them to create different outfits.

The concept of the digital room in “Clueless” was created to show Cher’s privileged life. As a result, fashion industry and various founders have long wanted to recreate the feeling of making simple clothes. Google is betting that AI technology will make it possible for everyone to have access to a similar device, which will change over time as AI advances.

Clothing ideas can be shared with friends or saved on a digital board, where you can save ideas for different occasions, such as trips, events, dates, work, and more.

The feature isn’t live yet, but Google says it will roll out to Google Photos on Android later this summer, followed by iOS, where it will be available under “Collections.” It will compete with existing software like Closet, Combyne, Purple, Dress up, Altaand others.

The company didn’t explain in detail how the AI ​​works, but it will recognize the clothes and accessories in your library to create its own images.
