At Google IO 2026the company unveiled a new version of its scripting software, Google Antigravity 2.0, with an updated desktop application, a CLI tool, and an SDK for custom navigation. The company started its own Antigravity weapon last year as a response to genetic coding programs such as Cursor.

The company said that with the new desktop software, users can create multiple agents and work at the same time. Additionally, you can create subagent workflows and schedule tasks that can run in the background. The new app also lets you integrate projects with Google AI Studio, Android, and Firebase.

Much of this is powered by the company’s new version of Gemini 3.5 Flash, which was developed by Antigravity, Google said.

Google is also adding native voice support to Antigravity, as it has done added to many consumer products, including Gmail and Docs. And it introduces a new Antigravity CLI (command line interface) tool for developers who want to use the terminal to create agents. Google is asking users who used the Gemini CLI tool to migrate to the new tool.

In addition, Google is introducing the Antigravity SDK so that developers can create devices based on Google’s capabilities. The company will allow Google Cloud customers to connect with Antigravity to create projects. It announced that it will release AI Studio templates for business users to get started.

Google is also adding the Antigravity deployment tool to AI Studio so developers can deploy an existing project and work locally.

Google is using Antigravity coding in consumer products such as Search, where users will receive UI generated in real-time as part of the solution. Here, users will be able to create small apps while searching for a topic in a search, the company said.

The company is introducing a new AI Ultra plan priced at $100, offering 5x higher AI limits in Antigravity than the Pro plan.
