Google adds Nano Banana-powered image processing to Gemini’s Personal Intelligence

Google on Thursday announced that its Gemini Personal Intelligence feature will enable the Nano Banana app to create personalized photos.

This means that its AI images can be created using Gemini’s understanding of your interests and preferences, without the need for immediate recognition.

This works because Gemini already has your data through Google accounts, such as Gmail and Google Photos. So, instead of writing “Create a picture of my dream home, my hobbies are tennis and music,” you can simply say, “Create my dream home.”

In addition, the interaction powered by Nano Banana can also use the text in your Google Photos, to understand the names and words to describe the group, such as “Family.” For example, you can create a picture saying, “Make a picture of my family and I doing what we love.”

The company said the “sources” button will show Gemini’s take on the image-making story.

Google said that like other links, Gemini can be wrong, and you can provide feedback. In addition, you can also provide screenshots to create screenshots by clicking on the “+” icon.

The photo editing feature will be available to Plus, Pro, and Ultra subscribers in the US in the coming days. Google plans to bring features to Gemini on Chrome desktop and other users soon.

Google launched Personal Intelligence earlier this year and developed it available to all US users in March. Earlier this week, the company expanded feature for many users in countries like India and Japan.
