People always have their phones with them to record special moments at concerts, but they rarely watch the videos. GigsA new concert tracking app launching this week aims to change that. The iOS app helps live music fans turn their years of concerts, tickets, and photos and videos into memories from the past with the help of Apple’s on-device AI.
To add a concert to Gigs, users can order a ticket, email, image, or website link, and the app will use Apple’s Foundation Models to extract dates, locations, lineups, and other information to populate the list.
For those who already keep track of their concert history elsewhere, such as Setlist.fm or Concert Archives, there is an option to retrieve years of concerts and festivals by linking their accounts.

Concerts have been added to the app, users can sync the dates with their calendar, receive ticket sales reminders, check the expected lists, and see more information about the show or artist. After the concert, the app reminds the user to rate the show and upload photos, videos, and other footage from the event.
Gigs was built by indie producer Hidde van der Ploeg, who has worked there before AI Petey programwhat makes Apple Music playlists; music discovery software NowPlaying; Helm of App Store Connect; and other mobile services. With Gigs, they wanted to create an app for people who love live music and can use it to keep track of their events.

By organizing concert memories in Gigs, users have the opportunity to revisit their favorite shows from the past and learn more about their concert history. Through the app’s statistics dashboard, users can manage categories such as the most viewed artists, favorite locations, most viewed cities, busiest years, and average ratings. The app also includes milestone events to celebrate a user’s journey on the road – like when they’ve seen their first 10 shows or when they’ve passed 1,000, depending on the type of artist.
The app is designed for iOS 26 with the Liquid Glass interface, and includes Home Screen widgets to read the next event. Siri integration allows users to view upcoming shows, access tickets, or rate events via voice. In addition, all shows are highlighted by Apple’s Spotlight in the search engine, and the app has a lot of pictures.
Gigs are free download is a $2.99/month in-app purchase that unlocks features, such as data transfer, achievements, deep recognition, unlimited storage for photos and videos, and support for importing concert history from other sources, or via CSV file. A $19.99/year subscription is also available, or Gigs can be bundled with NowPlaying for even less.
