Four convicted in spyware scandal that shocked Greece

The Predator spyware, sold by Intellexa, an Israeli company based in Athens, can access a device’s messages, camera and microphone. The use of the software was illegal in Greece at the time, but a new law passed in 2022 legalized the use of surveillance software for national security under strict conditions.
