EuphoriaSeason 3 premiere caused backlash as some viewers didn’t like watching ZendayaRue swallows drug balloon while others slam show’s performance Logged out belatedly Angus Cloud.
Sunday, April 12, on the HBO show Rue Relaunched after five yearsshowing her new life as a drug mule. A scene minutes into the premiere depicts Rue and Faye (chloe cherry) uses lube to swallow large amounts of drug-filled balloons.
They then had to smuggle the balloon from Mexico to the United States without getting caught. Rue arrived home in time to pull the balloon out, but Fee had an “accident” and was seen with faeces running down her legs before a dog tried to lick some of it off.
“Euphoria’s first episode was disturbing, guys, it was really rough and I swear, I didn’t know how to react,” read one post via X, while others said of creator Sam Levinson, “You guys have serious issues.”
Others unhappy Jules (Hunter Shafer) absent from the premiere or Cassie (Sidney Sweeneyy) Dressed up as a dog for her OnlyFans, a website she created to make more money before marrying Nate (Jacob Elord).
“This is so embarrassing even for Jacob,” another social media post read. “But how could Sidney Sweeney agree to do something like this? It’s like a shaming ritual.”
Lu reveals that Faith (Claude) also received backlash Serving a 30-year prison sentence. Some viewers weren’t happy that the show kept Claude’s character alive after his death, only to have him jailed.
“I just watched the first episode of Euphoria S3 and I’ve decided to skip the rest of the new season…Sam Levinson you are disgusting,” another viewer posted via X.
Meanwhile, Levinson recently spoke about the changes He thought about season three.
“Our motto is: evolve or die,” Levinson told hollywood reporter on Sunday. “We wanted to make sure we were changing things up. We wanted to give it a feeling that the memory was fading — a little rough.”
He continued: “We’re seeing them go out into the world, into the wider world, and allow actors to communicate emotionally through their performances, unlike in the past when we were communicating more through the camera. We want to see them fight for themselves.”
The creator teased his vision for the show’s return, saying, “I wanted to tell a story about surrendering our wills and lives to the care of what we understand to be God. These now-adult characters have the freedom to choose how they want to live their lives, but there are consequences to those actions. I look at that long period of time[between seasons]with all its tragedy and everything as a blessing.”
