The Australian supermodel teamed up with designer Bonds to show off his Bases Flex bras and lingerie, posing in the Cotton Kiwi Kiss colourway. Instagram post Saturday, April 4th.
McPherson said in a statement that the “Let’s Talk Flex” campaign in partnership with Bonds is about encouraging people to embrace their “authentic selves.” She also credited the event with helping her celebrate her “inner flexibility.”
“The flexibility within me is doing what’s right for me,” she explained. “That cheeky, go-get-it Australian attitude has been part of my career and journey from the beginning, so showing my knickers in this Bond campaign really resonates with me and feels like something to really celebrate.”

In 2017, McPherson was diagnosed with breast cancer after having a tumor removed. She was advised to have a mastectomy, chemotherapy, hormone therapy, and breast reconstruction surgery, but she chose “Intuitive, heart-led, holistic approach” instead.
“It was shocking, unexpected, confusing and daunting in so many ways,” she told us women’s weekly 2024. “It really gave me an opportunity to dig deep within myself and find solutions that worked for me. … I realized that I needed my own truth, my belief system to carry me through it. And that’s what I did. So, it was a great exercise in staying true to myself and trusting myself and trusting the nature of my body and the course of action that I chose.”
While McPherson doesn’t necessarily recommend alternative medicine in all cases, she said she learned from her cancer battle that “there are absolutely no guarantees.”
“I chose a holistic approach. Saying no to standard medical solutions was the hardest thing I’ve ever done in my life. But saying no to my own inner feelings was even harder,” she wrote in her 2024 memoir, Eller.

People thought I was crazy, but I knew I had to make choices that truly resonated with me. For me, that meant addressing the emotional and physical factors associated with breast cancer. It was time for some deep inner reflection. That takes courage.”
After battling cancer, McPherson Triumphant return to the track In March 2024, 14 years later, she strutted down the catwalk at the Triumphant x PayPal fashion show as part of the Melbourne Fashion Festival, wearing a buff belted trench coat and matching yellow trousers by Bianca Spender, and later a Victoria & Woods brown sweater, dark rose silk trousers and a long brown wool coat.
“So excited to be asked to walk @paypalau for @melbfashionfestival – so excited to be back home supporting Australian designers – thank you @paypalau,” she wrote on Instagram at the time.
