“He’s going to be close, right?” Trump asked again about Mahomes’ condition before calling the quarterback “a great guy.”
Trump also asked the brothers if they had interacted with Mahomes or any Kansas City Chiefs players. Restaurant owners said the Chiefs “order a lot from their restaurants from time to time.”
“You let him know that I hope he gets better as soon as possible and I hope he plays the full season,” Trump reiterated.

The quarterback continued, “The doctors say I can, but I can’t predict what’s going to happen along the way. You want to come out healthy and give us the best chance to win. I’m hoping to do some things in (organized team activities) and training camp and be able to do a lot of things there.”
