While Summers and DeJean’s apparent connection was acknowledged by fellow cheerleaders, other fans poked fun at their teams’ long-standing and often controversial NFL rivalry.
“A modern-day Romeo and Juliet,” one fan commented, while another wrote, “The dcc with the Eagles players is actually a piece of fan fiction.”
Neither Dejean nor Summers have spoken publicly about their relationship status. US Weekly Representatives for both athletes have been contacted for comment.
