Those were the words a man on the other end of the phone told Ankita Shrivastav, a Mumbai-based stand-up comedian, one afternoon in October 2024. Shrivastav says what happened next was one of the most traumatic experiences of her life, but she never spoke publicly about it until April this year, when she performed a comedy sketch based on the experience.
