Chrome on Android now supports virtual instead of virtual sharing

Chrome on Android now allows users to share the location of nearby web pages instead of its actual location, Google he announced this week. The senior expert says that while sometimes you need a specific location, like when you’re placing an order or trying to find the nearest ATM, sometimes the location you’re in is enough, like when you’re finding the nearest weather and news.

“By allowing you to share your location, we’re giving you more control over your location data,” Google explained. post blog. “And you can still share your location where it’s important – for example, on the move – so you don’t lose functionality.”

Google plans to bring this feature to the desktop in the coming months. The company did not share when, or if, the feature will launch on Chrome on iOS.
