Cherie DeVoe Made history as the first female coach to win the event kentucky derbyfollowing Golden Tempo’s win at Churchill Downs.

“(You should) have a good attitude, study English hard, study hard every day, and more,” he advises. “It takes time, I’ve been here 11 years, this is my 11th year. It takes time, you have to work – be responsible, be respectful. They need to know I was sitting in the same chair they were sitting in 50 years ago… Dreams do come true, you just have to dream big.”
