Cars swept away after bridge collapse

On May 25, a witness captured the moment a car on the edge of a broken bridge in China fell into a fast-flowing river after the bridge structure collapsed.

The incident occurred as floods hit the city of Xiaogan in China’s Hubei province, following days of heavy rainfall.

The driver and passengers managed to escape the vehicle, which broke down and was unable to reverse, local media reported.
