CAF has unveiled new plans for the African Cup of Nations

On the other hand, Motsepe has denied media reports that the 2027 finals have been withdrawn from Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda, who are expected to participate in the next Africa Cup of Nations, for fear that the infrastructure in the three East African countries will not be ready in time.

Motsepe said: “CAF and African football have done very well this year and in the years to come. We hope that Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda will have a good competition next year.”
