Billie Eilish’s mom thanks Justin Bieber for serenading her

Eilish’s mom comes after Justin, 32, invited Eilish, 24, to take the stage in Indio, Calif., for his second headlining performance at the 2026 Coachella Music Festival. Maggie Baird taken to Instagram Reflecting on observing her daughter in the crowd.

“One of the most touching moments ever,” Baird, 67, wrote alongside a series of photos and videos from the night. “It sounds crazy, but we watch our kids develop deep connections with artists that move them, and there’s often nothing we can do about it. But we buy them records and maybe a ticket to a concert (or in our case a movie of a concert, since we can’t afford a real concert).”

Baird included footage of a weeping Eilish standing by her side in disbelief as she prepared to be Justin’s “one less lonely girl” — a tradition he has long followed, including pulling a fan to the stage to serenade him during his performance of the 2009 song.

“I’m so grateful for the kindness Justin Bieber has shown towards Billie,” Baird continued. “And for haley (bieber) who makes so many things good and possible. ” (Hailey, 29, Married Married to Justin since September 2018, the couple has a son, Jack, 1. )

Hailey responded to Baird’s post twice, writing “❤️ you guys!” before adding “so special.”

As for Eilish, she’s been a huge fan of Justin’s since she was about 12 years old, and the singer has her own style. Instagram Stories Reflect on the experience. The Birds of a Feather hitmaker shared a bleary-eyed selfie, taken while lying down, with only the top half of her face captured, and captioned it: “Can’t stop crying.”
