CCTV footage shows a boy dangling from the back door of a moving bus in Melbourne, Australia.
The 12-year-old boy’s arm and schoolbag were caught in the back door and dragged about 350 meters to the suburban street of Wheeler Hill.
Although he was not injured, his mother compiled the video and shared it on social media, accusing the Ventura bus company of negligence.
A Ventura spokesman told the ABC the bus driver was fired following an internal investigation, adding: “This was a deeply distressing incident and we will continue to support passengers and families at this time”.
