Another year, another increase in wealth at Anduril: this round of funding was reported to be inside in March it is officially closed. Anduril raised $5 billion in Series H funding at a cost of $61 billion, led by Thrive Capital and Andreessen Horowitz, the company. he announced Wednesday.

This is more than double the price it fell to less than a year ago, when raised $2.5 billion at a cost of $30.5 billion led by the Founders Fund. (Founder’s Fund deposited a $1 billion check, the largest check it had ever written, it told TechCrunch at the time.)

This latest raise comes after the nine-year-old security technology company increased revenue in 2025 to $2.2 billion, CEO Brian Schimpf wrote in a blog post announcing the raise.

Interestingly, as Anduril is a clear winner among VC investors, the Department of Defense is already giving signs that it will not close itself to any start.

Shield AI, another US drone company, recently had one selected programs and the Air Force to work with Anduril’s “Fury” aircraft, instead of handing over the entire hardware and software contract to one of them.

However, Anduril doesn’t hurt to share it either. In the past few weeks, they announced several deals, expanding outside the US, too.

In May it announced that it was part of a partnership with others to create a land-based facility “Golden Dome” defense – a missile defense shield designed to protect the US – America. Anduril also announced the success of the cooperation from the Dutch Ministry of Defense and the cooperation of the US Army for combat control programs, using its Lattice platform to analyze data from joint missile defense systems.

“When we launched Anduril in 2017, defense was not a category that attracted a lot of investment. This has changed significantly over the past few years,” Schimpf wrote in a post.

It has. To give a recent example: In March, Shield AI raised $1.5 billion in Series G funding at a cost of $12.7 billion. Last month, Hermeus, a manufacturer of unmanned aerial vehicles, raised $350 million for a $1 billion+ valuationled by Khosla Ventures. And the darling of European Defense tech Helsing says he is about to raise a new $1.2 billion round for $18 billion, led by Dragoneer and former Helsing Lightspeed investor.

Anduril is now up more than $11 billion from investors together.
