Einride is adding 75 of its heavy-duty electric trucks to the Amazon Relay delivery network as part of a deal that gives the Swedish start-up control of the e-commerce giant’s operations. Einride will also provide charging stations at five locations in the United States, under the agreement he announced Tuesday.
Amazon does not buy or drive electric cars. Instead, Einride will own and control (using its Saga AI software) the cars, which will be used by drivers on the Amazon Relay network. Relaylaunched in 2017, is an app that truck drivers can use to book gigs with Amazon.

The deal with Amazon does not include standalone pods.
