Adult content creator Alex Links Sending message to Euphoria Star chloe cherry after the actress claimed Only fans There is no empowerment.
“With the content I create, I can thrive as an artist. I have a vision, I bring it to life, and people are willing to pay me for it,” Lynx said in a statement on Thursday, April 30. US Weekly. “I get paid to be myself and be creative, and I think there’s nothing more empowering than that.”
Lynx’s comments came after Cherry, who plays Faye on the hit HBO series, was asked if she felt “norms are changing” around the stigma surrounding OnlyFans.
“I do think it’s true,” Cherry told Refinery 29 Thursday, April 23rd. “Only fans and sex work are becoming more normalized, but that’s really just because capitalism and the economy are getting worse. It has nothing to do with empowerment or power or anything. It’s really 100 percent to do with the fact that we live in a capitalist system and the economy is terrible. That’s why people turn to it.”
In a statement, Lynx acknowledged that the path to adult content creation is not for everyone.
“You have to really want to do it. You have to find it fun, exciting and empowering,” she said. “But if it resonates with you, it can give you a level of freedom and control that a lot of other jobs don’t have.”
Lynx, who has been in the industry for over a decade, explains that OnlyFans has helped her build her confidence over the years.
“When I dropped everything and went on webcam, I felt inner peace for the first time in my life,” she said. “I’m doing what I want to do and living the way I want to live, and that gives me a lot of trust and confidence in myself.”
For Lynx, her career has been life-changing.
“OnlyFans in particular has changed my life. I’ve had the same conversations with other women in the industry and we all feel this,” she said. “It’s like, ‘Gosh, can I stay at home? I don’t have to go to an office? I can sit here, talk to people, create content, and they’re paying me really well?'”
