Alix Earle watches Alex Cooper demand their beef be aired

A day later, Earle, 25, announced that she “on top of it” After Cooper, 31, asked her to publicly break down their mysterious conflict, Earle shared a video documenting the moment she first saw Cooper’s request.

Earle wrote in the caption on Tuesday, April 14: “Hats off to my friends who knew I wanted to capture this moment.” TikTok clips. Additional text pasted at the top of the clip further sets the scene: “In case you were wondering, this is how I woke up the morning after Coachella.”

The video then shows two of Earle’s friends opening their bedroom door to greet a sleeping Earle, holding a mobile phone ready to play with Cooper’s request “Be specific…what is beef?”

Alex Cooper and Alix Earle seemed like a perfect match when they initially teamed up, but the social media stars had a falling out. Then one of the two friends said to Earl, who was lying on a pillow, “We have to show you a TikTok,” and Earl stood up to look at what was on the screen. On Monday, April 13, the “Call Her Dad” podcast host posted a recording of Cooper, and when she heard Cooper’s voice, Earl asked her friend, “Is this funny?” before continuing to listen.

When Cooper is heard saying to the camera, “What’s the beef?” Earl smiles and says, “Okay,” before the video cuts to her grabbing her phone and telling her friends, “That sure brightens my morning.”

Cooper made headlines on Monday when she recorded herself questioning Earl over his alleged allusion to drama between the two. Forward TikTok casts a shadow over Cooper.

“You guys know I don’t usually talk about this kind of stuff because it feels like a waste of time. It’s embarrassing to be a part of, honestly,” Cooper said in the video. “But I’ve obviously seen the videos and I’ve been flagged. I’ve seen the DMs, I’ve seen the comments. So, at this point, I feel like it’s long overdue.”

Cooper, who recorded Earle’s “Hot Mess” podcast from September 2023 to February 2025 under her Unwell Network media company, then addressed Earle directly: “Hey girl. Passive-aggressive retweets, ‘likes’ and comments on things, I gotta call you out. There’s no NDA and no one stopping you. Don’t hide behind other people and speak up for yourself. What’s the problem?” (Earle later spoke to Earle on Unwell Network launched her “Get Real With Me” series).

Cooper continued, “I’m really tired of waking up and seeing you using this fake drama to distract other people from being online for you. Not interested. I know what’s going on and so do you. So go ahead. Unless the fake story you’re creating happens to be funnier than the truth. When it comes to you and me, I have nothing to hide. Unless you really have something to say, then I’m out.”

At the time, Earle addressed the show’s cancellation via two TikToks. “Obviously, there’s been a lot of chatter online this week about me and my work. I don’t know what’s going on,” Earle continued in one second, “I really don’t want to get into the details of it all and I’m kind of out of my depth right now, but I absolutely love it and I’m very proud of what I’ve built with the podcast.”
