the ongoing drama between Alex Earl and Alex Cooper Rooted in “ego-driven” conflicts that ultimately lead them to very public feuda source exclusively revealed US Weekly.
“This was not an isolated incident that led to this feud. Alex has made Alex uncomfortable on multiple occasions,” the insider explained. “Alix felt the ‘mean girl energy’ from (Alex), especially after they did the podcast together, and felt Alex didn’t have her best interests at heart.”
The “Hot Mess With Alix Earle” podcast officially joined Cooper’s Unwell Network in September 2023, but their distribution partnership ended abruptly in February 2025, when Earle stopped producing new episodes. Alex doesn’t want Alix to make a bigger deal than she is, and if she does, she wants to profit from it. Everything should be about Alex.”
Tensions reportedly reached a boiling point when Cooper tried to interfere with Earle’s dealings outside of the podcast.
“Alix’s father had to step in to help her make a better business deal,” the insider revealed. us. “Getting out of her discomfort and quitting podcasting was the best thing Alix could have done for her career. She’s in a much better place now, happier and feels a sense of freedom.”
