The most powerful rocket ever built by NASA is on its way to the first manned mission to the moon in more than 50 years. But it didn’t actually land on the lunar surface.
That’s because the Artemis program is using its second mission (Artemis II) to prepare for a potential moon landing in 2028 as a stepping stone to deeper space exploration.
