Today is Saturday co-host Peter Alexander left the show after nearly eight years.
“I’ve had the most incredible experience in 22 years at NBC News,” Alexander said in his last broadcast In March 2026, he announced his unexpected departure. “I’m so grateful…for the leadership and mentors here who believed in me and gave me more opportunities than I ever dreamed of.”
