“He’s amazing,” Levitt gushed of her husband. “He’s a self-made guy and I respect that… He’s built his career so he can support me in my career.”

Telling her parents the relationship was ‘challenging’

Levitt also told Devine that she had a “challenging” conversation with her parents when she first told them about Riccio, in part because her mother was younger than her husband.

“It was definitely a challenging conversation at first,” she admits. “But, of course, once they got to know him and saw who he was as a man and his character and how much he liked me, I think it became easy for them. Now we’re all friends. I mean, it’s a classic family relationship. My husband has a lot of respect for my parents and the way they raised me, and we all have a lot of fun when they come to visit.”

Her husband is an introvert

Levitt also said she and Riccio differed in their approach to social media and the public. “He stays behind the scenes. He’s not on social media. He’s very private and a very hands-on father,” she explained. “He and my son are best friends.”
