Watch the dramatic rescue of a skier buried in deep snow

GoPro cameras captured the moment two skiers rescued another skier buried under snow in Lake Tahoe, California.

Carson Schmidt and his friend discovered the troubled man after noticing a pair of skis sticking out of the snow. The pair jumped into action and dug him out before he could suffocate.

“I hope my post will bring awareness to the ski community about skiing with friends,” Schmidt said. “You never know where you’ll be.”
