A landslide occurred at a campsite in New Zealand’s tourist hotspot Mount Maunganui on Thursday, leaving several people missing.
An Australian tourist told local media he was “still shaking” after escaping a landslide and it was the “scariest thing” he had ever experienced.
Rescue workers are at the scene looking for survivors.
