Vince Gill wins Lifetime Achievement Award at 2025 CMA Awards

Gill’s previous CMA awards include two Entertainer of the Year, two Album of the Year, five Male Vocalist of the Year, four Song of the Year awards (more than any other artist in CMA history), four Song of the Year, one Single of the Year and four Vocal Event of the Year awards. He also received the CMA Owen Waugh Award for Excellence in 2014, the CMA Foundation Humanitarian Award in 2017, and is a four-time recipient of the CMA Triple Award.

In addition to her 18 CMA trophies, Gill has hosted more award shows than anyone else, hosting the show from 1992 to 2003.

Gill broke through in country music in 1990 with his hit song “When I Call Your Name.” He has since released 20 albums, sold more than 30 million records and had 45 chart-topping singles.
