U.S. prosecutor says Maduro ‘plundered’ Venezuelan wealth in court battle over legal costs

Regarding Maduro’s fate, she said she felt a degree of sympathy: “He was a man who had everything but lost it all through greed and an inflated ego. I feel sorry for him because he is ultimately a human being, but I hope he gets a life sentence. He must pay for his crimes.”
