Pete Davidson and Elsie Hewitt They are in baby bliss after the birth of their newborn daughter, Scotty.

They are in New York City to welcome her,” a source close to the couple exclusively revealed us weekly. “They wanted to raise her in upstate New York, where there was more privacy, normalcy and a more suburban feel.”

The insider added that the quiet environment of the Upstate has given Davidson, 31, “a lot of peace.” While the couple are still adjusting to life as a family of three, they make a “good team.”

“They have their hands full and are still dealing with parenting issues day in and day out,” the source shared. “Pete is over the moon to officially be a dad and has had a smile on his face since she was born. He was thrilled when she arrived.”

For her part, Hewitt is equally ecstatic about becoming a mother.

“Elsie has had a really great week with little Scotty. She’s feeling great, totally in her element and has embraced motherhood in a way that feels natural to her,” the insider explained. “She truly felt like she was born to be a mother. They soaked up every moment and gave Scotty so much love.”

When Hewitt, 29, had to have her wisdom teeth removed shortly after giving birth, Davidson was by her side caring for his girlfriend and daughter.

“He has been very supportive and has been there every moment to make sure she has everything she needs,” the source said. “It was a tough day and Elsie had to have her wisdom teeth removed, but Pete really stepped up and helped in any way he could.”

Hewitt announced on Thursday, December 18, that she and Davidson welcome their daughter About a week ago.

“Our perfect angel girl is here: Scottie Rose Hewitt Davidson♥️,” Hewitt wrote on Instagram, along with several photos of her and the comedian’s little one. “My best work yet and I’m absolutely filled with love, gratitude and disbelief.”

Hewitt and Davidson named their daughter after the “Saturday Night Live” star’s late father, Scott Davidson. Scott Davidson was a firefighter who died in the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. Pitt has previously stated that losing his father is one of the reasons he hopes to one day have a family of his own.
