TikTok star Matt Howard is sharing an update on his hair transplant journey.
“Hair transplant update,” Howard wrote via his Instagram Story on Sunday, November 30, while sharing a picture showing off his new and improved hairline.
In another post, Howard zoomed in on the progress and wrote: “New hair coming!!!”
Howard then shared a photo of his head that he overheard, showing some skin.

“But… I lost a lot of hair on the top of my head and it should grow back nicely over the next 9 months (final results 1 year after surgery),” Howard wrote.
Howard made his decision public in September receive a hair transplant In Türkiye. In an Instagram video, Howard explained that he realized his hair was “thinning” last year when he tried “a shorter haircut.”

Howard began doing research and found that hair transplants in the United States cost “up to $20,000,” while in Turkey it was “about $3,500, including all transportation and three to four nights in a five-star hotel.”
Howard explained that his new hairline was painted on his head and that he “got a little nervous before the local anesthetic because I was going to be awake for six hours while they were putting in the 2,800 grafts.” He promised to share his final results with his followers later.

Shortly after they sent us for an ultrasound, the technician said the words we will never forget, ‘I’m sorry, I don’t have good news.'”
The statement continued, “That’s when we were given gender information we never expected to see, along with the news that our baby had a genetic disorder that took her life at approximately 17 weeks into her pregnancy.”
The pair wrote that the news was “unimaginable” and the grief “absolutely devastating.”
“But we are so grateful for the time we spent with her. We still have hope. Hope continues to be there for us in so many ways,” Matt and Abby concluded. “We will now mourn her and continue to find ways to honor her life offline. We welcome everyone’s thoughts and prayers. Thank you to everyone who has celebrated this precious life with us over the past 17 weeks. ❤️.”
